Payment & Cancellations
Rustic cabin rentals are a minimum 2 nights stay on long weekends. When booking online, if the Lock Fee is not selected, we reserve the right to change your site to another with the same services prior to your arrival.
Cancellations made 7 days before arrival will incur a $15.00 cancellation fee or full refund will be issued in The Ridge Camping Credit. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival – 50% of your reservation will be issued in The Ridge Camping Credit and 50% of your reservation will be forfeited.
Campsite Use
Any drunken, obnoxious, dangerous, illegal, violent, threatening, or unreasonable behavior disturbing or offensive to other campers and / or guests will not be tolerated. It may also result in immediate eviction without refund.
Any campers, campers’ children, or guests who negligently deface, damage, or destroy any property or equipment belonging to the campground, shall be liable for the full replacement value.
Please respect other campers’ sites, do not walk through and / or enter another campsite without permission.
You are responsible for the safety and actions of your children and any other children under you supervision. No child is to be left at the campground without responsible adult (19+) supervision.
All children must wear a helmet while riding their bikes. No bikes are to be ridden after dark.
Fireworks are not permitted. Failure to abide by this rule will result in immediate eviction without refund.
No structures are to be built or placed on campsites without prior consent from Management.
Campers/ Tents and belongings are left at the campground is at the risk of the owner. The Ridge Campground is not responsible for any damage
incurred during your stay.
Traffic Speed, Vehicles & Parking
The speed limit within the campground is 10 km/hr. Failure to obey the speed limit will result in eviction with no refund (this includes the driveway).
There is a limit of two (2) vehicles per campsite. Guests must park in the designated Guest Parking Area. Off-Highway vehicles and/or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted to be operated within the campground. The campground is an idle free zone. No vehicles are permitted to enter and/or leave the campground between 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and 5:30 a.m. unless it’s an emergency or have permission from management. The campground may only be accessed via the main entrance. This is the only legal access to the campground. Entering and / or leaving by any other means is trespassing and can cause destruction to campground and / or our neighbours’ property. Offenders will be responsible for the full cost of repairs to all damaged properties and risk eviction from the campground.
Guests
All guests must sign in at the office and sign out when they leave. All guests must leave by 11:00 p.m. or will be charged a fee of $10.00 per person, per night. This fee includes use of the pool and all campground amenities.
Daytime guests of all ages must pay $5.00 per person, per day to use the pool and our facilities. If your guests do not use the pool there is no charge.
Quiet Time
Quiet hours are to be observed from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 7:00 a.m. Please be considerate of other campers. All radios, stereos, and any other audio equipment must be turned down to a low level during these hours. Generators are permitted between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. only. Medical use: If you require a generator for medical purposes, please let Management know when you arrive.
Campground Facilities
Pool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with an Adult Only swim (ages 19+) from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our swimming pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. You and your
guests may swim at your own risk. Pool rules are posted at the pool and must be followed. Children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 19.
At all times, the gate to the pool area must be kept closed. Children still in diapers must wear a swim diaper in the pool.
No Smoking (includes tobacco products, vaping or cannabis) in any of the campground buildings, playgrounds, within and / or around fenced pool area.
Please be respectful of others and ask before smoking at other sites or in common areas.
Pets
Do Not leave pets unattended. All pets must be on a leash. All pets must be cleaned up after in all areas of the campground (Bags available in the office).
Pets must not disturb other campers. Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Firewood & Firepits

Please do not cut or damage the trees. Firewood can be purchased at the campground. Please do not bring wood from outside sources.
Leave un-used wood for the next camper. Never take wood back home. Fire pits are not to be moved without permission by Management.
Do not burn garbage in the fire pits. All campers must adhere to Provincial Fire Bans. Failure to abide by this rule may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Garbage & Recycling
Garbage must be bagged appropriately according to provincial recycling laws and placed in the proper bins provided. Do not bring garbage in from outside the campground.
Large items are not permitted to be disposed of in the campground dumpster(s). No electronics (tv’s), furniture, etc. Littering is prohibited in all areas of the campground.
All sites must be kept tidy and free of garbage. Do not burn garbage in the fire pits.
Entrance to the campground constitutes permission for The Ridge Campground to photograph or video the campers and visitors while on the premises and to use any resulting photos or video for any lawful purpose without compensation to the camper or visitor. The Ridge Campground Ltd. Management will not be responsible for any damage or injury caused to campers or visitors property or person and shall not be held liable for any harm and / or injury caused by campers and / or visitors use / misuse of The Ridge Campground’s property or equipment. The Ridge Campground reserves the right to evict any person(s) who create a disturbance, for non-payment or who deliberately breaks any of the above rules. No refunds will be made in the event of these circumstances.
Ridgewear Orders
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Ridgewear with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
