We always encourage our guests check out local attractions! There are many great areas to explore near The Ridge and we want your experience here to be memorable!

Mariner Cruises Whale & Seabird Tours Westport, Brier Island

Come have a whale of a time with Mariner Cruises! Enjoy our friendlines, hospitality and expertise on board the Chad and Sisters Two as you watch whales and birds while sailing on the famous Bay of Fundy waters off of Brier Island. Expect to be amazed while making memories that last a lifetime!

Acacia Valley Trail

The Acacia Valley Trails offer a mix of woodland trails, less than 10km from Digby, with a little something for everyone: wheelchair accessible trails, single track walking paths and an ATV bridge, all connecting to miles and miles of logging roads on neighbouring Crown lands.

The Crow’s Nest, Digby

Had the biggest and tastiest bowl of chowder, full of lovely scallops, haddock, and lobster. The cheesecake didn’t disappoint either. The waiting staff was really friendly- nothing not to like about this restaurant.

Bay of Fundy Scenic Lobster Tours

We stop at popular scenic attractions such as the famous Balancing Rock, Seal Point, Boar’s Head light house and also Whale Cove Harbour to haul lobster traps !

Sandy Cove Beach

On the Bay of Fundy side of Sandy Cove, this is one of the few (if not the only) sand beaches on the Fundy shore of this part of Nova Scotia. A half-mile crescent, it affors beautiful sand flats when the tide is fully out, which are great for walking, sand castles, or just playing.

Bay Ferries

There are two sailings each day from St. John’s or from Digby. (If you should be inclined to take this mode of transit be sure to check the schedule).

Digby Visitor Info Centre

Located at 110 Montague Row. Will be opening for the 2021 tourism season for information on the Digby area. Hours of operation mid May to June 23 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Prim Point Lighthouse

A must see during your visit to the Digby area. Short drive from Digby. History is noted in plaques spaced throughout the area.

Admiral Digby Museum

This museum is the primary place to do any genealogy and family research in the Digby area. They have several staff members who are adept at research and many resources available.

Lake Midway Provincial Park

A well kept off the main road day park, great for picnics or just a quick rest stop or you can put your boat in the this location.

Dockside Kayak Rentals

Kayak the waters of the Annapolis Basin; The Fundy Complex; a dining, entertainment, accommodations and activities centre offers easy access to the waterfront from our own floating dock.

Annapolis Basin Look Off Provincial Park

Annapolis Basin lookoff is a great place to stop and check out the magnificent views of the bay of fundy and digby basin. Excellent views and photo ops of coastline and water. Free access and parking.
